This page is dedicated to my family and the people who are special to me.

My mom is one of the people I look up to in life. She's been through hell and back but was still strong enough to hold her family together and be there for the three of us. These days she has an active life. She rents a townhome in Rancho Palos Verdes and works as a Supervisor at a bank in Torrance. She's full of stories of old men hitting on her at work.. with the money she could get with sexual harrassment suits she could buy a house in the bay area and cook me dinner as her job.. but she takes it all in stride. In between work, she's an avid tennis player and has her 'clique' of Korean men and women. Although my siblings and I relentlessly tease her about hooking up someday, I think she's going to remain asexual for the rest of her life. No men for her!

Lizette is another person I look up to. Similar to my mom, she's been through her own life journey already which has had it's lows and highs. Now she's getting her master's in social work and living with her soulmate Andy, down in San Diego. She's always been well-liked and popular with her friends and is always full of energy and ready for challenges. Her life has been vastly improved from a few years ago and I'm glad she's back on her feet and going somewhere. Lizette, come move up here so we can cook dinner for each other! (well, you can cook dinner for me)

Mark is my younger brother.. I can't believe he turned 17 recently! He's one of the smartest guys I know. He's got this computer thing all figured out and spends most of his days harrassing people he doesn't know on aol. The rest of his time he hangs out with a good group of kids who have fun farting on each other and watching anime. Just kidding - he isn't that big of a nerd. He's a cute, respectful guy who gives asian boys a good name (which is tough).

I think I inherited my love for animals from my dad. When we were younger, we kids would always be fascinated by the pigeons on the street and instead of just pointing them out like normal parents, he'd catch a poor pigeon so he could show it to us close up. He'd do this with lizards, seagulls, anything. He doesn't live in the US anymore, but we are able to visit him every so often and we have a lot of fun with him.

Miho, my best friend from high school. We drifted apart for a few years while we were in college, but we're back together again. I hope she and her boyfriend can move up here so she can cook me dinner.. Now this wouldn't be your standard dinner. She's in chef school to be a gourmet pastry chef. She was drifting for a while but I think she's found her niche in life. Stick through it girl..! She's always been a great supporter of mine and I'll always be there for her whenever she needs me too. I wouldn't hesitate to call her up bawling my eyes out.. which I have before. :)

(On a side note, Miho isn't black.. nor is she a man. She's a cute Japanese chick)
