I had a fun-filled weekend. Merima's birthday party was Friday night at which there were good times. I was quite intoxicated that night to the delight of everyone, and Amit said I kept cheering everyone with my drink. He counted 40-something times, which I highly doubt! Pfft.

Saturday was Walt's turn to be the funny drunk. We went dancing at 111 Minna and Cleve bought him a very large can of Sapporo beer. He was quite proud and protective of his massive amount of alcohol and held it to his chest protectively. I think I saw him making out with the can in the corner a few times. I was only slightly buzzed because I didn't feel so well, but I remember on the way home before I fell asleep I was laughing hysterically at Walt. He was completely goofy and crazy. Props to Amit for taking care of our drunk souls.

I finally got my haircut on Saturday.. I've been trying to find a good place in Berkeley to get it cut ever since I moved a year ago, and so I tried out Vine Street Salon. I'm pretty happy with my new cut. However, at the end when she was blowdrying my hair, she asked how I wanted it: smooth or curled. I replied, "Well, whatever you think will look good." Hmm.. not good. She kind of tussled the whole thing, put this powdery thing in my hair for "texture" and the resulting hairstyle looked something like a big mop. She looked at my hair as she was putting the finishing touches on it and gave it a scrunch and proclaimed. "See? Fun" Hmm.. "It's fun!" I had just come from the barn so I was pretty filthy.. so it looked like I had that toussled look on purpose from being out on the trail for 2 hours, not the "trendy" toussled look that's in style at the moment. Ah well. I went home and straightened everything out and I'm happy with the results.
