Ahh! Gotta write before Thursday hits to maintain my 5/day a week schedule.

I've definitely become more agro now that I have a commute to deal with. Stupid people galore.. today I drove to and from work, then to and from the barn where I rode Isabella. I just bought a new bridle that looks like this:



But of course, Isabella is much cuter than that horse. This was the first time in about a year I put a bit into her mouth and it was a little frustrating.. she's used to an S-hackamore which operates with pressure on different sides of the nose, so it soon came apparent that we had absolutely no brakes in the bit. She was learning to give to the pressure each way to the side, but stopping was a problem.

China was insistant on getting me pissed off today. This morning she ran up the apartment stairs after some cat at 6:30 in the morning. So, I couldn't really yell after her.. but instead fumed in courtesy silence until I got to her. Then at the barn, she proceded to chase all the barn cats around and follow me into the arena where dogs are not allowed.. especially when there are 10+ horses running around inside. ARGH! I wanna kick some doggy ass.

I'm pooped. Time to sleep.
