Good and bad news.. Bad news is that Isabella isn't recovered enough to go to the event tomorrow.. good news is that Sandi, the barn manager, heard about my sad plight and offered up her horse for me to ride this weekend.. YAY!! I'm so incredibly happy. She offered her 7 year old mare, Nellie. She's a nice little 15h, palomino gaited grade horse with a HUGE walk and trot. Bob and I went for a short little ride last night and Bob was constantly having to trot Tavi to catch up. Nellie will be interesting to ride.. she's never been overnight camping nor has she been to an event where there are so many horses around. She's very forward, she likes to go.. and she's a little tough to stop. So I'm a little nervous.

While we were gone Isabella was calling to me the whole time.. now that she's in a stall she gets bored very easily and one of the ways she vents her frustration is to make faces with her lips and bob her head like she's Pee Wee Herman. Apparently she was doing that while I was riding Nellie. I had a bizarre dream last night.. I dreampt that I woke up in the stall next to Isabella's, one occupied by an older Morgan mare.. I was lying in the shavings and my feet were propped up on the stall door. Someone arrived into the barn and didn't see my feet and just went about doing whatever they were doing. Totally random.. and wierd.

Still haven't done my taxes.. 4 days to go.
