Inside her mind..

Today I had the day off.. I've been having a great day so far.. this morning I got a Brazilian wax. It was the first time getting a wax of that sort.. previously I'd done waxing at home.. just my legs and I've gotten my eyebrows professionally done. My coworker told me about it a few weeks ago so I called around and found out my salon did it! They're a little pricey at $60, but hey, it was my first time so I thought I'd go for it. I wasn't really nervous.. and contemplated taking an Aleve or something beforehand because I heard it could be painful. Nah, I'll just go for it.. The lady tried out two different waxes, one was your standard honey wax with the cloth strips.. the second was this green one that you just pulled off, a new brand. I DEFINITELY liked the green one better. The honey wax would sting like a mutha after she'd take the strip off for about 10 seconds whereas the green wax would burn as she took it off, but that would be it. Anyways, she started working away.. and Bob wanted me to leave a little strip, but she began taking everything off. Ah well! Now, about 6 hours later the skin is still a little irritated, but it should go away by tonight.

I went to the barn after getting waxed, didn't ride (obviously).. but spent some time with Isabella.. she is such a beautiful horse! Her summer coat is coming in and I remember how pretty she was.. now that she isn't covered with mud everytime I see her.

After the barn I drove home, picked up the doggies, and took them to Pt. Isabel.. spent a nice time watching the tide (it was all the way in this time) and drove home, completely pooped.. ugh, I'm tired.
