This weekend was pretty mellow. Saturday morning Bob woke up early and I got up about noonish. We ran a few errands then had a new housecleaner come over to look at our place and to give us an estimate. $65/visit. Not too bad I thought so we're having her come over every other week for now.. maybe it'll go every 4 weeks if things look good. You might think that is a lot of money to pay for keeping our house clean.. but you don't understand. With 2 dogs and 3 cats there is a LOT of hair. A LOT!!!!!!!!! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!!

Yesterday Bob woke up early and I got up about 11ish. We went for a nice ride along the street.. it started out exciting. There were calves along the side of the road which Isabella had never seen before so she was a little freaked out at them, and to make things even more interesting, a man on an out of control horse decided to gallop up to us full speed on the other side of a fence we were walking next to. I was riding bareback. Well, I survived. I haven't fallen off of her yet.. unless you count the time she decided to roll cuz she was sweaty and hot and I slid off her back once she went down.

We had a nice little game as we were riding up the road to Mt. Diablo. There are quite a few bikers that ride along that road and quite a few cows in the field alongside. Bob and I have perfected their sounds.. it goes a little something like this: "Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn---yeeeehhhhhh" (in your deepest voice, you can also crack your voice to add more urgency to your tone). Once a biker passes us, Bob has to make the cow sound.. its quite amusing, especially when there are no cows around. I am so easily amused.
